Just like an old fashion service station, we will top-off your oil and coolant and check for leaks. If winter driving has depleted your windshield wash, we will top that off too.
This technician will also inspect hoses, belts, tires and brakes for wear giving you the green light or advisement on when to replace. All so you can drive confidently.
If a rack is available, the technician will inspect the suspension, steering and HVAC for any winter damage that may have occurred.
There’s no appointment necessary, just stop in. It takes around 20 to 30 minutes and Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday are the best days to stop by.
Open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and closed noon to 1 pm.
90 Day Retest – Unfortunately, not every smog test is a pass. If your vehicle does not pass the California test, we offer a free retest within 30 days. This will give you time to have the vehicle looked at, repaired and the vehicle computers to reset. At Quality Automotive Servicing in Truckee, we know that it is often inconvenient to come in for a smog test. We encourage our customers to not wait until the last minute to accomplish this DMV requirement. Our staff of service advisors will take off your California smog check Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 and 1:00 to 4:30.
