There's a lot of talent at Quality Automotive. Mark, aka Jake, has been servicing my cars for decades. Mark is a certified BMW tech, amongst many other attributes. These folks are very thorough, with great attention to detail, and relatively reasonable pricing. The only problem we have ever had is that they are so good at what they do, getting your vehicle fixed in one day is often a challenge. They can't inventory all parts, and they get so busy that your service may not be complete in a day. We're fortunate that they exist here in Truckee, and I would take my vehicles to them any day over a factory certified service center.

These folks are very meticulous and they pay attention to detail. There is excellent talent at this shop. The only downside is that the turnaround time on repairs can often go far beyond what you might experience in a larger facility, but you won't find a better automotive repair shop here in Truckee.

Our 4th of July week started out pretty badly with a broken serpentine belt in Auburn. Thankfully we were able to get towed to our Truckee home only to search desperately for a place to fix it before the long weekend. After talking with Gary, he said "bring it in", which I did and was very pleased that they were able to fix it. Running great now... thanks for saving our vacation with our daughter's family.

I have been bringing my Subaru here for 9 years and they have always been great, but this last trip in Gary and his team went above and beyond! My clutch went out in Southern California on a road trip and I was stranded for 4 days while it got replaced. When I got it back my car was not running well, I took it to Quality when I got back to Truckee. They diagnosed it to be the fly wheel and told me to take it to a Napa shop to have it warenteed. The new shop wasn't sold it was the fly wheel. 😒. Gary took the reigns and became my middle man with the new shop. He talked to them for me and got the whole thing sorted out. Quality Automotice saved me over $3,300 and hours of hassle out of the goodness of their hearts.

Quick, professional and thorough. The discovered a problem with our brakes that we were not aware of. Good work guys!
